Bringing together work from the last two years of the artist's involvement with the Rebellion for Autonomous Future (RAF), this exhibition creates a satirical nemesis for the technological future. As a long term artist-in-residence, Benjamin Andrew has participated in many of the actions carried out by this semi-fictitious resistance group, including the 2010 RAF Census and the audio and visual departments of the Tomorrow Archive - both of which will be on display along with an inside look at the RAF itself. Providing the viewer with a range of documents and research, the artist invites active questioning and recontextualization (including an interactive sound piece). Taking history and imagination as its themes, this exhibition critiques the notion of resistance and calls into question the relationship between fiction and fact; technology and humanity.
