THE TOMORROW ARCHIVE
![]()
The Tomorrow Archive is mobile collection of future history organized by the Rebellion for Autonomous Future (RAF). In January 2010 I worked with them to present a selection of my own work alongside excerpts from their Archive to exhibit highly charged look at how we perceive the future. For more information on the Tomorrow Archive and the RAF doctrine, please read this pamphlet which was distributed at the Archive in January:

At this point you have either read the slightly ridiculous pamphlet or looked around the Web for anything on the RAF. They do not exist. The Tomorrow Archive is a mixture of my own collection of historical future documents and original drawings and paintings. Presented as a pseudo-museum and as a covert military base the Tomorrow Archive shows the images and publications that have defined the Western vision of the Future, while presenting them as a hegemonic enemy. It is fascinating that these handmade images of dream-worlds have come to fruition as a sort of authoritative aesthetic for the futuristic. Pulp magazines. Comic books. B-Movies. These are what define the direction we are heading in; they are what limits us. By inserting original works into this historical collection, I further blur the line between fact and fiction while creating an underground resistance that is itself fictional.
